sorry to disturb you all again so early but even though i was very busy (well for me anyway) yesterday i have had another crap night. just could not get comfortable in bed.

hope you all have a good day when you get here.xx what is planned today. i'm going to put some more bulbs in pots and then come indoors and make cakes. have to have help getting them out of oven and baking tins but that is a small thing.

don't want to take sleeping pills but would love to have good sleep pattern. any suggestions? have already tried hot drink before going to bed. just seems to give me more energy to stay awake.

Good morning to all! Very cold and windy here; most of the leaves have gone from our trees in the garden, but I'll see them again because they always find their way to the guttering and drains!

Now, please don't laugh.
I bought a squeezy 'stress frog' in Barcelona and it sat on my desk for ages, more as decoration than anything else.
I was having great trouble dropping off to sleep and decided to try taking the frog to bed with me. I clutched it tightly in my hand and really focused on it, to the exclusion of everything else. Next thing I knew, it was morning.
The poor frog is long gone, so I bought a little 4 inch teddy from a charity shop and do the same with him. The secret is to focus only on what I have in my hand. Strange, but it really works.
So, please don't laugh. Try it.

Morning lj....morning all, from a very windy South Yorkshire..got twenty trillion leaves in my garden and every one from some other folks trees..ne'er mind...keep me out of michief shifting them.......so mrs comm says...what the mischief would be I'm not sure he he!
