it sounds all very bad, ditching your constituents for a month, but be honest: if your MP vanished for a month (ill, say, or on government duty), would you really notice?
I suspect there will be more of this in the future; like tweeting and FB, reality shows are just part of modern life, whether I'm interested in them or not.
Of course she'd made enemies in her party with her hardline religious views and her (entirely correct) posh boys claims; so she was unwise to give them a reason to dump her.
But to criticise a politician for wanting publicity is like criticising the sea for being wet. Publicity is politics' lifeblood.
