How to keep emails

I wish to close a yahoo email account but wish to keep all the emails, how do I do it, thank you

If you have another Email account you could just forward them yahoo to the other account couldn't you neti.

Could you forward them all to your new email address before you close the yahoo account.
Do you need to close the old one though- you could just leave it but stop looking at new emails.
I wonder if there is an 'out of office' type message you can put on yahoo email?

I don't think that you can forward the lot together neti, although a tec may see your question and know how to send them all in one go.

I think you could put them in a folder and send the folder. I may be wrong though.

Set up something like outlook express with the yahoo account details, wait until OE has downloaded all the mails, close the account.
