quizmail question 117 and 125 can anyone point me in the right direction really struggling with these two,new to site , thanks in advance

Not great at clues. I can tell you how I went about it. 125 I just Googled words from the question, thrush, white gorget I think. 117 was very unscientific, I just got a list of pastas and looked for those that looked like words after the first two letters were taken off and went from there.
