How do i restrict my laptop so that

No idea what the answer is here. Most kids I know see parental controls as a challenge they must overcome! I'm glad I don't have kids in the house

you did not specify your operating system, however, mine is windows7.here, one goest to contril panel/system and security/user accounts and family safety/parental control.
There you can decide what your children see, and who they communicate with.

thanks windows 7 i have, and i have done it, my older child wants to use my laptop for homework now, so cant really afford to buy another, so had to put parental controls on. x
