Does anyone remember this group? Does anyone know what they're doing noe or what happened to Shiva, the lead singer?

Don't khnow what they did for a while after they split in 1972, but in recent years one of the members raja ram formed a record company called tip records in 1994, and shiva jones formed a new band with a swiss musician..

Shiva (aka Phil Jones) and Maha Dev departed then band in 1972 after the "Self" album and they formed a band called Kala. They recorde one album on the Bradley's label in 1973, sorry don't know the title.

Shiva returned to his native Australia and studied the digeridoo.

In April 2003 he released a new album "Shiva Shakti", it features new versions of Quintessence favourites.

Raja Ram (aka Ron Rothfield) carried on in variuos similar oufits until the late 70s mostly playing with Jake Sambu and his wife Sita.

Jake Milton went onto form sax-driven, punk-jazz trio Blurt, which continued until the end of the 80s.
