Samsung Galaxy Ace how long does it take to upload a video to youtube

Hi there I have recorded a video on my phone and I am trying to upload to youtube it seems to be taking a while it keeps on saying starting and the little yellow down light and green light up with 3g beside it is flashing but it seems to be taking ages it has now been 10 minutes and the file is only 9.90 MB

It depends on your actual data connection - if you have an HSDPA connection it will take perhaps 5 or 10 minutes, 3G will take much longer, E will forever and G slightly longer than forever.

The best way is to connect your phone to a wifi hotspot (preferably your home broadband) 9MB will take less than 5 minutes.

how will I know when it is done?

It will tell you, but I don't know the Ace so don't know exactly how - (my samsung galaxy s2 has an icon on the top bar indicating that tan upload is in progress and this changes when it is finished).
