I am still waiting for my scan...the one that couldn't be done in October because no-one had noted my reaction to the contrast.
Today I phoned appointments. I can't have a scan til I've seen a consultant...I paid to do that ages ago. The consultants secretary is back from annual leave but off sick. Her machine doesn't take messages...just another number to ring where a voice tells me to ring her. The vascular nurse thinks the consultant has my notes so he can discuss how to do the scan without contrast...I don't think so. I'm not the only person to have a bad reaction. Can't recall who was at the other end of the other numbers I rang so......
like I said.....I give up!!!!!!
Off to vent frustration in the garden.....that'll happy me up. :-)

and where the heck are you lot when I need some French short-hand translated into English when Mr A goes to play poker?!
I insult them in Welsh :-)
He was loving you all, the AB women
with all the strength in his heart.
Loved you all in many ways,
He never knew where to begin or start.

He'll bare his soul, maybe his breast, for you to be with him.
But a man can't love women,
when a man feels crowded, not free.

He had to deal with all your AB baggage,
Insecurities and unfounded theories.
He fell out of love, sacrificing all of you.
Nothing returned, off to France, wounded by everything,
Flames nipping at him,
flames, flames and more Apotheosis flames.

Falling from the sun, which lit his life,
Falling shot down in AB flames,
Icarus? No Shoota be his name.
I was going to send a picture of my rubber duck, but the SRU has changed to a new version, from a dark blue to yellow with blue scarf! Ah, well.
A digging story, from this morning's Chris Evans Show:
Lad in prison receives letter form Dad, saying he can't handle the digging of his allotment, and can't plant his potatoes.
Son writes back, "Too bad, I was going to ask you to dig up the mental box I buried just before I went down."
After the police visit the allotment, but find nothing, the old man is able to plant his potatoes, to which the son says, "I did my best to help, Dad".
Hope that lightens things a little.

Question Author
Oh yes, LadyJ ...bolshie for me.
All sorted!!!
A friend whose wife had the same complaint phoned to see how I was. He gave me the number of a nurse to phone. I left her a message and she returned my call within ten minutes. Same name as me and Irish so we had quite a chat. She said she would sort out the ridiculous situation.
Fifteen minutes later she phoned back. She'd spoken with the consultant and an appointment for a scan is now in the post.
Takes a good nurse........;-)
Well done gness.
Great news, get a sensible person and sorted
'Takes a good nurse....' - Is that a stage direction?
