Renault Laguna 2005 no fans or air con

A few months back my fans and also air con stopped working. Now the colder weather is approaching it would be good to get it sorted.

I changed the fuse but no difference. Any ideas? Could it be as simple as the air con needing re-gassing (although I can't see why this would stop the fans working)?

Which sort of garage would be best to take it to? i.e. auto electrical specialist or standard garage.

Thanks.

Hi Mattk,

You should find an answer easily here..........

Check the connection at the fan Mattk, If poss put direct feed from your battery, this by-passes the thermostatic switch on the Rad, if the fan kicks in, its the switch, Oops, are you talking about the control switch inside the car? Re-gassing should not effect the fan not working. with the Ing OFF, clean the fuse contact@ ( Where the fuse sits)
