God’s dilemma

Since the Israelis, the Palestinians and all the people around the world praying for victory for one side or another, or even for peace, trust that God will answer their prayers, don’t you think the faithful are creating a bit of a dilemma for him? What’s a God to do?

Thats kind of the whole point.There is no empirical evidence to support the notion that anyone has ever heard anything from god.The same god has often been invoked by opponents in conflicts down through the ages.

In the hypothetical event that there were a god, one would have thought that such a powerful deity might have indicated, in no uncertain terms, which side if any they were on - no evidence of that either.

All the more reason to surmise that god is a man made creation.Otherwise, any deity appears to be absent minded, uncaring, or psychopathic.

Not sure why you mention the red army in this context. I was careful not to specify particular nations in my post.It might be reasonable to look at that isolated event - the red army invading - and conclude that either there is no god, or alternatively that god quite liked the atheists kicking the butt of those who believed "gott mit uns"
