printer wont print

put new cartridges in and now it wont print done everything i can think of, anyone any ideas thanks

is this a canon printer using refilled cartridges if so when switching on printer hold red button down for 5seconds for each new cartrdge this workerd for me

Do you mean nothing comes out, or do you mean you get blank pages?

What type of printer is it? Does it take cartidges with a chip or circuit ribbon on it? Or does it just take a cartidge of ink?

Have you removed the strip of plastic that covers the airhole?

done everything youve said, its a hp officejet 6500a plus, blank paper comes out, cartridges with a chip, and running windowsa, nothing comes on screen or on printer with error message

To determine if it is a computer or printer problem, rry a test page on the printer.



If you get any output this way, then the printer is fine and the problem will be the computer.

Now you will need to try printing from the computer. Try printing from different programs eg. internet, email, word processing etc. Check all the settings in each print window.

It printed once then blank again, I messed about and got the heads cleaned, set page alignment the could get pc to recognise printer so still not printing
