Generally simulators for learning to fly remote control planes and Helicopters that you use with a real RC controller. with decent remote control helicopters costing in excess of £500 (easily up to £2k) learning to fly on a real one can get expensive very quickly so you don't really want to go near a real one until you've mastered it on a simulator.

Whichever one you decide on I'd suggest getting a USB controller for it too, using a proper controller via the training port is a pain (it's using it's batteries whenever you use it, which can get expensive or annoying having to change/charge them all the time).... USB controllers are only about £20 from Ebay and seeing as a decent sim will already set you back over £100 it's not a lot more.
Or if you're on a budget, just get the controller and they normally come with one of the free sims, but the free ones tend not to be that great.

If you are on windows 7 or vista, you need to download and run a virtual serial port first.

This is a nice indoor 4 channel helicopter and a great starting point if you are new to RC helicopters, spares are cheap and they are very robust.
