Last episode tonight. I'm not a massive TV watcher but I have enjoyed this little piece of Spooks/Homeland escapism.

I know many ABers found it too violent at the beginning but has anyone continued watching it?

It got rubbish reviews by people who 'know' about such things, and so I didn't bother..

BTW, I usually get bored with the same old guff they churn out about muslims and terrorism, but I love this programme, well, I love Damian Lewis!

i only heard about this series when it won an american award recently.
I started watching the current 2nd series and think its terrific.
i wish i had known about it from the the start.
id like to watch it from the beginning, maybe on dvd

You should try and catch Homeland MarkRae, it's a fantastic series.

I Googled it, and it's described as "a drama/thriller series developed for American television". I'll give it a miss, I think...

No no, no. It's much more than that, honestly. It's nothing like CSI or other such dross.

I'm saving the 2nd series of Homeland but certainly enjoyed Series 1. It wasn't your typical US repetitive output, much more complex and intriguing.

Yup, enjoyed Series 1 a lot. My enjoyment of Series 2 has been tempered somewhat by exasperation at the way Carrie Mathison, the lead female CIA agent is acting.

Seems to be stretching the bounds of credibility that such a loose cannon would be allowed out in the field ;)

Homeland is actually based on another show which I think involved the Palestinian Israeli relationship and yes it is an excellent show. I'm actually a little jealous of those who have never seen it as they can now gorge themselves on the two series in one go.
