We converted the attic to a lounge about 5 years ago and put the glass in up there, then we had a bit of a swop around downstairs and ended up with the dining room and main bedroom at that end and it just seemed the right thing to do.

The wonderful view, hard to get workmen to start a job. The want to stand outside on the balcony and watch the wildfowl on the water, maybe feed the ducks.

the area i live in,everyone says its a beautiful area and i'm very lucky to live there,i have great neighbours,gardens are lovely.so peaceful(you never know when the kids are on holiday from school)never want to move,i love my wee hoose

not so much now but people often describe my house as an alladins cave or grotto ... full of artworks, carvings, jewellery, weird hippy stuff, fabric, etc all over the walls and ornaments etc.

most people loved looking at everything but said they couldnt do it themselves ...though a few said they would if they could, but itd take years.
and obviously a few probably hated it but never said.

i have slimmed it down a bit now so its not so much stuff.
