Vaginal Bleeding (Sorry About the Title)

Had the Mirena coil fitted in 2010, not due to get it replaced til 2015.

Woke up this morning to a discharge, clots and not-too-dark blood.
No intercourse. Female, 49.
No cramps.
All dried up now, should I bother my GP?

I would get it checked out alba. Any irregular bleeding, in my opinion, should be checked.

History:
periodic intermittent bleeding. cone biopsy and laser treatment. 2 subsequent successful births (over 20 years ago)
(the smear test last done was fine, the one which led to the cone biopsy and laser treatment wasn't)

I think I'll phone tomorrow and explain, surely won't do any harm anyway?

Pain when you feel seeing the GP is bothering them, but we do...no harm to phone for advice Alba. x

I had an internal intervention many years back - when I went to the consultant afterwards and mentioned the bleeding, he said "oh yes that's normal, I forgot to mention it..." - I'm sure you're OK but it's worth keeping an eye on it (as it were).
