Thank you for your advice yesterday. I was really panicky when you said I should get it seen to straight away, so I went to A&E. Bit dramatic, but anxiety took hold!
Anyway, it was a hematoma as you said, but wasn't severe enough to require it being surgically removed - thank goodness!!
It's been drained, packed up and I'm on a course of antibiotics.
