I have only recently bought one of these, the 7 inch version and I am very pleased with it.

But if I want to use it where there isn't any wifi access, can I use a dongle ?
I have a dongle that I use on my notebook and it works very well. But my Galaxy doesn't have a USB slot.

The same question applies if I want to connect my small portable hard drive. Again no problem on my notebook, but its needs a USB slot as well.

Are there such things as converters, or adapters that I can plug into the charging socket on my Galaxy and carry on with gay abandon, pretending its a USB ?

Bloody hell Yorky Lass ! This is just what I am looking for ! When I asked in PC world today, they just looked blank. I can't thank you enough !

( I wish I was in Yorkshire. We stayed in a wonderful hotel a few years ago, in Wath, near Pately Bridge, called the Sportsmans Arms. Never had food like since...wonderful scenery in Wharfdale as well ....Gods Country apparently )

Also thanks to T&S...I will investigate.
