looking for boarder collie rescue centre

Im looking for a rescue centre for my parents 7 yr old boarder collie in the west miss / shropshire .
Both my parents have fallen ill and are now unable to look after him.
It's a shame he's a lovely dog very well behaved but nervous.
when my parents first had him we think he may have been beaten he never barks and is scared of anyone carrying a stick.
So we need some where which only deals with this breed.

Just Googled "Border Collie Rescue" and there are lots of them around.

I'm not sure there is such a thing. Poor old chap. I wish we could have him as a pal for Zac.
