My husband came shopping with me today. As a result my shopping bill, which is normal around £70, was actually £101. Does anyone else have this problem?

I like my OH coming shopping with me because he pays! I'm very tempted to bring a book with me though.

He's a sucker for a special offer!!
It's the other way around with my OH and me, Tilly.
She carefully makes out a shopping list before we go shopping but she never keeps to it. 9/10 we'll get home with a dozen more things than we went for and at least two or three things missing that she'd originally put on the list.
I can't shop without a list - but OH can get a bit carried away in the short-dated shelf :-)

My son does the food shopping for me as i am registered blind. He writes out our menu for the week before he does the shop. hE never spends more than £45 for the two of us and we eat well.

By the way, the 'jumbo honey roasted peanuts, milk chocolate coated raisins and toffee coated popcorn' are disgusting.
The flavours don't marry at all. I suspect that they are the left overs fro the individual vats of items and someone thought it would be a good idea to shovel them all in to one bag.
Don't go there!
