Football query

My friend who is an up and coming football ref age 21 has been asked to keep Saturday 1 June next year free but with no details. Any ideas what games will be played on this day? We wondered about the Victory Shield but any other suggestions?

May not be a match on 1 June, but a training camp, alternatively, a tournament else where in the world

Could be training Blue Toffee but I know he has to do those as a matter of course anyway & it is just one day & he is at Uni so couldn't be able to jet off for a few days. Probably just have to wait & see but he is excited as you can imagine!
