Email question

My laptop and PC have Windows Live and Outlook Express respectively, and both are set to retain messages on the same server for fourteen days using the same email address. Yet when I open one of them ( WL or OE) I then can't access the messages later from the other. Why not, and what can I do about it ?

My only suggestion is to check the settings for both email systems to verify the "leave messages on server" option is set corrently.

If it is set correctly then looking at the mail on either client should leave the mail on the server.
