further to my earlier questions about softening leather, does anyone know where i can get my hands on either of the above?

look in your local business directory under equestrian centres (this should include, riding and livery stables and more importantly for you, stables that include a tack shop), there will be a suprisingly large amount of them and they are the cheapest places to get saddle soap :-)
linseed oil from b&q, homebase etc
Linseed oil from any decorators merchant.
What happened to my answer to this question? Artist's suppliers also stock linseed oil.

It's alright - I found my original answer under "How it Works". But I still don't understand what you're on about, Homer.
try www.leprevo.co.uk they supply lots of equipment for leatherworking, that's where we get our things from. they're excellent, v helpful and reasonably priced and your stuff comes within a couple of days.
