Anyone else notice how they're lying with their price reductions?
I told the daughter that Tesco were selling 1 litre bottles of Bells for £14 but the last day of the offer was last Tuesday. She went in last Tuesday but the Bells was £18.
She noticed that Famous Grouse was £14 a litre and that was on offer at that price until January.
She went in today to get some Grouse and the price was £16!!
I do most of my grocery shopping online and last year one week when placing an order, I added a 2 mango pack at £1.50. Two weeks later when I ordered the same thing off my favourites list they had put the price up to £1.75 but then said it was on special offer for £1.50. I'm glad the Office of Fair Trading have introduced new rules about these so-called special offers.
TESCO regularly sell 4 seperate tins of Branston Baked Beans cheaper than the "Special offer" four pack..I have emailed them at least 4 times and never get a satisfactory answer...."Saving You Money Every Day"...mmm...Not likely!
i complained to them about why were they now selling 5 biscuits for the same price that used to be 6 in the packet the answer i got was they didnt wont to put the price up so they took a biscuit out. do they think we are all stupid.
needless to say i now do my shopping at aldi, no gimicks just cheep prices.
