To the build up & Xmas? Myself, too commercialized, rip off prices, feel sorry for the parents that have not got enough to get decent pressies for their children, & NO, not a miserable old fart, I have Grandkids.

I have a prob with what to get for small presents for Christmas lunch time when the in-laws descend, we usually exchange small gifts. Overrated and expensive, not really in the mood this year.

i would if i knew what to buy g/kids and Nieces and nephews.
