I have been getting increasingly fed up with problems that I have been having, using Internet Explorer. I have used various versions of this since 1994 but the problems have been getting worse.
So I have now changed over to using Chrome. It took a few days to get used to but I now realize that it so much better. I can hear 100's of AB'ers saying "we told you so" !
But there is something I don't understand. I use a wireless keyboard and one of the main problems of late is that I have been experiencing increasing problems with letters missing from the text that I am typing. I have changed no end of batteries in the keyboard but to no effect.
But now I am using Chrome, this problem has all but disappeared. I'm not sure why, as the keyboard is the same as I was using on IE.
Anybody have any idea of why this is the case ? I am also getting far less problems with the screen freezing...was this due to IE as well ?
don't know the answer to your q but i feel the same about chrome - took me a few days to get used to it thne i can't believe i didn't listen to other people all this time :)
I was told too.... I had all the problems you say on IE - freezing pages, text missing (only on AB mind but so bad it wasn't worth coming on). I have had no problems since switching to Chrome except I keep using the cross at top right screen to shut pages which actually shuts off Chrome altogether!
Thanks everybody ! I have been using Chrome for a few days now and it hasn't let me know once. I still don't understand why characters where being missed when I was on IE....can anybody shed some light on this problem ?
As for "We told you so", you are right and I was wrong ! Mea Culpa !
But there must be hundreds of millions of people using IE in planet earth....why doesn't Microsoft fix these problems ?
