I went to a quiz on Sunday night and a good 50% of the answers were wrong. For example, the author of Gullivers Travels was Jonathan Swift and the answer they gave was Andrew Black (whoever he is). The woman who set the quiz was sitting with a team and surprise, surprise they won with full marks. Talk about corruption in the world of quizzes!

glasman, I believe they were all from a tv quiz (Family Fortunes?) where two families compete against each other.
Another one from that programme was:
"Name something you can open other than a door"
The contestant answered "your bowels"
Take a look here- I see yours is credited to Larry also

Some corkers there glasman!
I've just remembered a recent question...

"Which famous occulist, who died in 1947, was also a recreational drug experimenter and a social critic?"

I spent some time considering the exciting world of Opticians. If they'd read it out correctly as ........... Occultist ...... I might have been able to answer Aleister crowley ;o)))
