Didn't know where to put this thread so here's as good as anywhere.
I'm thinking of writing a spy novel which I'm going to call '' The Mancunian Candidate''. It's basically about a young man from Stockport who is held captive by East Yorkshire agents working for the undercover ministry of grubology ( known as Min Spies) for The Sabotage of Christmas ( their main plot is to brainwash the young Mancunian into believing that throughout the country Yorkshire Puddings can be substituted for Christmas Puddings. At a prearranged time the young man will be awakened by a kiss from a selected local queen ( to cries of ''He's Behind You''), and will set about the task of changing all supermarket stocks of Christmas Puddings, the plan being to dump them all in The Ship Canal thereby raising the water level for future plans in extending The Canal to ship Yorkshire Puddings to the rest of the known world. What are your thoughts on this ?
