What do kids do with their uniforms??
Teen snow was bought 2 new v neck jumpers in September. Within a week he had lost one, according to him it must be in the house(his answer to anything lost!). No it isnt in house. 2 weeks later he comes home without the top to his school tracksuit. Has no idea where it is - again!.
Sunday just gone I asked him to bring down his uniform to wash - no jumper. Says he left it on his floor. I go upstairs yesterday to get it - cant see it anywhere. He gets in and I ask where it is. " It was on my floor this morning". Flipping isnt now!! So now its really cold and he has no school jumpers. Grrrrr..............

Sorry smow , but he is old enough now to take responsibility for his own clothes !! Cheeky monkey. Let him freeze for a day , he might just remember where they are
I feel your pain smow, my son lost his school coat over the weekend, mad dash to shops yesterday to try and get him a new one, not easy as it has to be plain black or navy with NO embellishments, logs, fur etc at all, anyways, I find one. Doing the ironing yesterday afternoon a t shirt fell down the side of the sofa, as I retrieved it I found his lost school coat. Not impressed was an understatement I can tell you.
Smow, you have my sympathies. Youngest Junior Overall (12) is exactly the same.
My biggest bugbear with him is school shoes. I've always bought my kids their schools shoes from Clarkes - his last pair in September cost £40. I have had to replace them TWICE in 3 months because he has outgrown them. Sob.
Sorry, that makes no sense. His FIRST pair (of the school year) in September etc etc

It just drives me spare! Have told him he can pay for the next jumper and promptly got " How much will that cost??"
I swear they do it on purpose, genetics :-)

I'm so glad mine are now past that stage, but so sad they're not, if you know what I mean.
I buy cheaply for the above reasons, it makes no sense paying a small fortune for uniform only to find it lost or grown out of
Been there. Got the t-shirt. Why is it always boys. Our girls never lost any clothes!
when my daughter was at school the jumper had to be BIG and then the trend was to make a hole in the cuff and put your thumbs through them.Needless to say the skirt had to be short to the point of nonexistance ! Deep joy x

I do buy cheap uniform for this very reason, but its still the blooming inconveniece of it all.
I feel your pain....

Smow, We bought my son new shoes to start 6th form in September (as you do) He wrecked them playing football on day one!!
is this the same one that ran up the mobile and had bus problems this morning?

The poor soul's having a tough time. Hopefully it's just a phase. x

ummmm - you have my deepest sympathies!
alba - yes it is same son, and its only Wednesday!
He is a teenager ? - I thought for a minute then that he was at junior school .

For be it from me to advise you on your son , but it seems to me that he needs to get rid of that casual attitude before it becomes a case for supernanny .
It'll soon be the holidays!
He's had his 3 things so hopefully the rest of the week will get better.

I hated when they came home with holes in their trousers from playing football on day 1.
