Hi,

I have a rather irritating ex-boyfriends mother who keeps pestering me with letters and I'm sure she will start to get on the phone soon.

Is there anyway, you can barr a specific telephone number from dialling you on a BT landline? Its not like I can ring the police to say she is harrassing me! But thought this might make her think I've moved or my phone is no longer working.

I thought I'd ask here first before I ring BT and they think I'm crazy!

Thanks

I am sure BT gets asked this all the time:

This is the service you require.

If it becomes malicious then BT will step in to intervene. Worst case scenario change your number or call the police.

BT have a service called "Choose to Refuse" not sure if they charge for it or not but it will bar numbers you don't want to call you. Or you could just buy a caller ID phone and sign up for BT Pricavy
