Hi, i am doing the references for an essay harvard style. According to the booklet from the uni, govt publications should be referenced thus :-
Great britain. Home office. (1994) Prisons policy for england and wales. London HMSO.

how would i reference this legislation : http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1999/293/contents/made

and where would it go in the alphabetical reference list? I the forst eample would it be with the g's for great britain or the p's for prison policy?

seem to have a case of missing letters there - the last sentence should read "in the first example"

When I was at Uni we had to put our Harvard referencing in alpha order by author, if you are citing the web page, you need to put the web address and the date you accessed it.

what about a position paper from the environment agency - is the authour "environment agency"?
