For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.It may have overload protection, if there is a problem with the amp, speakers or cables (possibly a short circuit), then somwe amps have built in protection that turns off the amp to prevent damage. Check the speaker cables first for cuts or damage. Alternatively there may be thermal protection to prevent overheating. Are the ventilation grilles free of dust and dirt and are they all uncovered, i.e not pushed against a wall. The higher that you turn the volume up, the harder the amp works and therefore generates more heat. If there is a cooling fan inside, is it working? If not that may be the problem. Good luck.
