Been for the colonoscopy today, all the staff were so good I felt totally at ease (well somewhere near). Test discovered a polyp which was removed and sent off for analysis.

They told me there was nothing sinister about it.

However the camera couldn't go into my whole bowel due to scar tissue from a previous hysterectomy. (That's what I was told)

I am going back on Friday to have a CTcolonoscopy.

Still a bit worried, any constructive input gratefully received.

Thanks, Wendyx

There is an old saying in medicine..."commonest things occur commonest" and the commonest bowel growth is a polyp, which is not cancerous.

Does that help?
