Hove means thrown as does cast.
Hove is past tense of heave (as in: heave him over the side), which means to throw or to cast. Yes?
Run- R
one- i
pipe-sing
25a Toggled
20d Yes R(un)I(1)SING(pipe)
'Hove' - past tense of 'heave' - cast

25a Toggled (with switch) - 'got' (took, back) + g(ood) + 'LED' (little light)

20d Rising - 'r(un)' + 'i' (one) + 'sing' (pipe)
Took back = got reversed = tog.
Good = g.
Little light = LED.
Hence: toggled.
25a Took GOT back + G good + LED light
took (got)back - Tog
good- g
little light- led
