Help! I can't find my butter curler - only use it at Christmas! Does anyone know of any high St shops that sell them? Had a quick look in Wollies and Wilkos but they have no idea what I'm talking about!

I know you can get them on the web but obviously it's a bit late for that!

Many thanks.

you could try an ice cream scoop perhaps?

check item 1 on this page http://www.lakelandlimited.co.uk/SearchResults.aspx?kw=butter

do you have a lakeland near you? fab place that sells long forgotten utensils, i love this place!

..ice cream scoop!!!???...blimey you must really like butter lol.. do you have a large m&s or debenhams near you?...hmm tricky your best bet would be a small specialised kitchen wear shop...get out your yellow pages, and get phoning ...
If you cant get one try a melon baller, a lot smaller than an ice cream scoop
Did you look right at the baaaaack of your cupboard behind all the other things which you use once per year.
Hi Jon, I had one once too, inherited from my mum, so I do remember what they're like. If you haven't yet managed to find one I wonder if using a fork tucked inside the inner curve of a spoon and run along the block of butter would produce a similar result?
