Ron, yes you can see what is in your record, your GP practice will have access to the full record and you have to ask there if you want to see it.

As it says on that link, patients can't log in (so they won't give you a password) but the surgery will print the record, and if you want to change anything they can do that for you.
I can see why patients can't have direct access - otherwise things could be changed at will! - but it does mean that you have the right to inspect what is on your medical record, and do soemthing about it if it's not correct.
