1000 + 40 +1040 + 1000 = 2040 + 30 = 2070 + 1000 = 3070 + 20 = 3090 + 1000 = 4090 + 10 = 5000. I get the same no matter which way I do it. i MUST be thick !!! I give up :>(

It tries to fool the brain, I got 4100, but I had to think about it and desist from letting my brain get carried away with mistaking tens for thousands.

Even though I have seen this before I STILL made it 5000 and yet I was looking out for the 'catch' (not really a catch but a wrong perception, ie. that 4090 plus 10 is 5000) Doh!!!
