it's one of those that flits about abit, if i hadn't ead the book the dialogue would have been annoying me now,
watched half hour and still don't understand it.
anyone know where the bungalow scenes were shot, look like Dungeness to me.
Baza, that's such a coincidence. I just came on here to ask if anyone knew where it's filmed. Loving it so far.

kent was in the book as far as i recall, so far he's come out of prison after 12 years, we've met his sister 12 years earlier, their dad 12 years earlier, and the house where it all happens. she keeps getting phone calls and the caller hangs up, they're hiding away from someone.
Spot on baza

Things pick up when Karen, Rex and their daughter relocate to try to escape their past, and the scenes filmed in the isolated expanses of Dungeness in Kent are the most atmospheric – although not necessarily the most appealing.
Question Author
in the first scene her husband was already out of prison and she got a phone call and went to meet someone near her house in the middle of the night, remember that bit later on as it only fleetingly showed it, we're now back a few weeks before that first scene to where he has just been paroled
Question Author
we've just seen a flashback to the family home when they were small children and their mother hung herself

I got a tad confused, is the husband who went to prison, the same man as the brother? and so the blonde wife is the young blonde girlfriend in earlier scenes! I guess he admitted to shooting that fellow instead of his wife, is that right?
Question Author
the husband is rex the brother, and yes he did take the blame. his wife is the same girl that was in the house when they were students.

but it's not that simple,,,,,
