Toshiba Flash Card Problem

i am forever getting a 'window' coming up on my screen, sometimes its just the top bar (the one with the 'x' on) straight across top of screen, sometimes its across screen but has a window about 6 inch deep. I cant close it down, when i try it says not responding and goes through the rigmarole of searching for problems and trying to close down. There doesnt seem to be any reason for it coming up.

Also I keep getting the 'F' button menu bar across top of screen, i can come out of this fairly easily most times but sometimes it just stays there, again it doesnt seem to be anything im doing

both of them cover up my internet tabs and drives me mad when i cant remove them... anyone got any ideas please?

forgot to say....... on the bar it just says Toshiba flash card... nothing else
