I don't think mourning a pet is any diffeent than grieving for a human who's gone. Give yourself lots of time. You had her for years-she was like a best mate,I bet. She will never leave your heart. I still have a picture here of Cleo who I lost about 5 years ago.
As for Blue-she will need time also. I once lost the brother of my late girl Mitsy. She was an aloof puss...but she was on our bed for several nights after her brother was gone. That was the only time she seeked us out that way.

Still feeling emotional today but I had stuff to do which took my mind off things. I've had a little cry here and there and will probably continue to do so until I feel at peace. I cried on and off for a whole week when Snoopy was put to sleep.

You will do, Be kind on your self, I have felt upset all day and its not my cat, with regards to your little one, learning tiggers name, thats good, tigger leaves this world with his legacy of knowing that another person will love our feline friends. xxxx take care, I have 8 of the litle blighters, No Christmas tree for us this year, I can't even bend the artificial needles
out without One of the bengals running down the stairs and from the 8th stair launching them selves into it, ( They have radar ears) lol x

I cried for the best part of a day and was out-of-sorts for a week after I had my cat put to sleep when his kidneys went, even though at 14 he'd had a good innings. Initially I decided not to get another cat as I didn't want to suffer such grief again. But within six months it was clear that I couldn't not have a cat and so for the past 14 months my house has once again been nice and catty.
