You had her for years-she was like a best mate,I bet. She will never leave your heart. I still have a picture here of Cleo who I lost about 5 years ago.
As for Blue-she will need time also. I once lost the brother of my late girl Mitsy. She was an aloof puss...but she was on our bed for several nights after her brother was gone. That was the only time she seeked us out that way.

I cried for the best part of a day and was out-of-sorts for a week after I had my cat put to sleep when his kidneys went, even though at 14 he'd had a good innings. Initially I decided not to get another cat as I didn't want to suffer such grief again. But within six months it was clear that I couldn't not have a cat and so for the past 14 months my house has once again been nice and catty.
