Doesn't mean a thing....I think

I've recently started doing an evening class on Motivational Speaking, and during my class I met a lovely fellow student. I was instantly attracted to him but have said nothing.
Anyway, I turned up late for class, because before I left home a neighbour dropped by to complain about the load barking my small dog was making. I resolved the issue and headed to class, where I bumped into the lovely guy I like. I told him that I nearly did get to class because I had to resolve a problem, I further said that despite my "dog being really small when it barks it causes a lot of noise". He laughed about it, and that was the end of the discussion.
However, the next week he stood in front of class to discuss the topic he was going to write up about and he said "some problems can't be ignored, they might seem small and easy to handle but really they can make a big yapping noise if you ignore them"
Now this is a long shot, but do you think the comment about my dog inspired him to say that?

What I don't think is that it is any kind of evidence that he is attracted to you. In similar circs, I have used input from people who I have positively disliked....not that I am saying that he dislikes you either....there is just no evidence.
