Although I am with the TPS I still get loads of calls and just had one from a company doing surveys. They say if you email them they will remove your numbers from their list, but apparently you cannot stop these companies from randomly choosing your number, only sales and marketing calls are stopped. I know these people are only doing a job but they are getting right on my t*ts now and I cannot help being rude to them. I often work nights and sleep days and do not want to be woken up to either find its a dead line or someone wanting to ask me questions that I do not have any interest in answering. Can't something be done about them?

If you need to answer the phone, (I turn the ringer off and let the answerphone pick up calls if I don't want to be disturbed) then one of these will only allow through selected numbers or will block selected numbers.

I always ask the survey callers how much they will pay me for my time ?
When the answer is they don't pay , I answer with "Why should I furnish your company with data for free, that you will then sell on for a profit ?"
yes but you have to answer the phone to do that!
