not sure why this lady had her hood up in Tesco, I always find shops so hot, but I really dont think she looks like she is going to rob the place, do you

Appearances can be deceptive. There are plenty of grannies that go on the rob!
There's a pier where I live (amusement arcade thing) and it says on the door "all hoods must be down" - or something like that. No point in having cctv if you can't see the persons face.

Either that or the Mail have been sending old lady stooges with hoods on into Tesco for the last 6 months waiting for some jobsworth to enforce the no hoods policy, so they could print the story.

I don't think the shop did anything wrong, it's policy in most stores, CCTV can't pick up faces properly when hoods are up. Stealing is not just a young persons game.

What a silly woman and what a fuss. I'm a sixty two year old pensioner with grandchildren, more than capable of carrying out a raid on my Tesco Express if the mood came over me and I suited hoods.

I did a short stint as a supermarket security guard when I was between jobs and you would be suprised the age range of theives. The old dears usually blame alzheimer's but I was on to them!!!
