No, Naomi, it's not a 'different' issue, it's the same issue. Equal rights irrespective of marital status, and equal rights irrespective of sexual orientation. If the Church of England already has the legal right to discriminate on one of them, it can quite validly be given the legal right to discriminate on the other.
