A restart usually solves the problem.
How did you know it was going to take 8 minutes while you were still typing?

because I timed myself as I type and this was the last thing I added. Restart no help....it's an random AB problem that users have encountered and reported previously

just noticed the title....this should end Returned....and therein lies the problem. Getting a Web Page error message on some viewings saying 'This Page requires RunActiveComponent.js if that is any use to someone.
I just had that message appear in a box in the centre of the screen but have none of the other problems. (23 seconds) :)
Morning,

Thanks for letting us know - we're trying to get rid of that message (and hopefully this problem). We were trying to get rid of it anyway - but we're having trouble hunting it down. Sorry for the return of the typing bug.

we're in your capable hands.......although problem seems to have disappeared for now!!! Very intermittent - the typing bug that is.
Yes, we have other, much more reliable problems as well! :)
The Run Active Component was irking me, thought it was my PC so asked about how to take a screen shot then ask about it. Thank you The Novice, I am not alone :-)
I've had the 'This Page requires RunActiveComponent.js' message as well.
I just assumed it was something to do with viewing an advert and since they are not important to me, I just closed the box.

Everything for me seems to be OK apart from Gravatar/AB showing the wrong avatar. I have just visited Gravatar (for the first time in nearly 2 years) and changed it for a Christmassy one which should kick in at the next refresh.
gen2, is it me or are you upside down?
'This Page requires RunActiveComponent.js' has been popping up on my screen for the past few days - and the 'cross-scripting' message has just appeared again for the first time in a while.
I have had the RunActive Component too, but not the cross scripting....also a shockplug is not working message but that doesn't seem to do much.

Chrome by the way.
In case the Ed and his team are still interested, the full message is:
The page at http://a.rfihub.com says:
This page requires AC_RunActiveContent.js
