I forgot to pack my pills for holiday in Guernsey. I took all of your advice and I went to the pharmacy, had to make appointment with GP, That cost me £52.25, possible able to claim on travel insurance but as it's my fault they may not pay out. Sat in reception for 45 minutes to see doctor. I couldn't remember what strength pills I had so she said she would have to ring my GP in Gloucester, go back to waiting room, 30 minutes later she comes out and says they are permanently engaged. She will give me a prescription for lowest strength to be safe. Took scripts to pharmacy, long wait so will collect later. Went back 3.00 ish. Problem they had got blood pressure tablets but not Cholestrol ones, he had been phoning all over the island to no avail. We waited 30 minutes while he carried on phoning, he eventually found a chemist that had some, problem it was the other side of the island and they closed at 4.00, with only 15 minutes left and no idea where to go even though he had a map, I decided no chance of doing it, so hope all will be ok till we go home. I did tryhonest, at least I got the blood pressure tablets which I forgot to get a receipt for so can't claim for them!
