just seen a trailer on gold for a new exclusive series, starting in mid january, of 'yes prime minister' featuring, obviously, all new actors

i found a link (below) confirming this.

the originals were superb, i am not convinced that the magic can be re-created.

I can't see why they need to do this - the rush to make remakes doesn't mean it endears any series to a new public - the old ones still hold up.
