Okay Another Question On Kindle Fire Hd, I Have Managed To Set Up My Email Account

and i am able to recieve emails, but what the problem? I cant send them? just sitting on outbox ...have i set it up wrong? outgoing settings? is it something to do with the security type? there is a dropdown bar there at moment its on ssl/tls should it be on something else? i am with virgin.net, thanks if anybody can help. ps loving it so far!

what did you put in for ports in set up for e mail?

You should be using SSL

Assuming that your email address ends in @virginmedia.com, the uutgoing server type should be set to 'SMTP' with the address set to smtp.virginmedia.com
The security type should be 'SSL'
If you're required to enter a port number, it's likely to be 465.

I just googled Configure Virgin.net e-mail.
I guess you could do the same with Orange
