Book Title?

What is the title of this novel that goes between medieval Britain and Britain in the present? It's based around a romance in the present and the couple's past lives in which they could not be together.

The most famous one is "Lady of Hay". As woofgang says, Abebooks might be able to help, but they're a bit slow on updates at the moment. Also, some of the suggestions aren't that accurate. (Unless they're mine, of course!).
Possession was written A.S Byatt ( the one that doesn't like adults reading Harry Potter books ). Vittoria is correct in that it is set in Victorian england - it is actually about a two modern day researchers, researching two victorians. The two stories are interwoven throughout the book- it is certainly worth reading.
Thanks everyone! I looked up the 'Lady of Hay' and it sounds like it has a similar plot to the book I was looking for but its not the same one. The one I'm looking for was also very long (about 800 or 900 pages). In it, the woman in medieval Britain gets pregnant out of wedlock and is killed (I don't remember how though). Thanks.
