Hi wonder if you can solve my query?
I just got an Ipod Nano for Christmas but i want to know if there is anyway i can get it to work in my car - i have looked on the internets but dont know how it would work as i have no-where for a lead to plug into my car stereo for it to work? Does anyone have any ideas or can they point me in the right direction of a website that sells something that will make this work?
Thanks

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Some cars now come with built in adaptors for portable music players (primarily Toyota/Citroen/Peugeot with their jointly developed Aygo/C1/107 city cars, and the new Toyota Yaris) but I am led to believe there are other ways of adapting this, including via the cigarette lighter or casette player. Unfortunately I don't know of any websites that sell these myself.
Good luck with the search!

What about using a custom FM transmitter (from www.ipodworld.co.uk)?
Here's the blurb from the site:
With its own power source, the FM Transmitter for nano and video makes your tunes appear as if by magic on any FM device. With a no frills car charger attached you have no excuse to run out of your own instant radio station.
With a streamlined chrome appearance and backlit display, this FM Transmitter is the perfect companion for your iPod nano. It runs off its own AAA battery, meaning it wont drain your nano, while in the car it can be powered by the cigarette lighter.
Simply plug it into the nanos headphone socket, tune it in, and let your music envelop you in clear stereo sound, wirelssly from any car or home FM radio.
The FM transmitter has unlimited tuning capacity in 0.1 MHz steps, enabling you to find the perfect station to broadcast wirelessly to, covering all of the 88 108MHz frequencies.
Car Charger
Cool design and great functionality makes this Car Charger the ideal travel companion. The Car Charger is great on the go for charging your iPod when out and about. Its simplicity itself. Plug one end into the cigarette lighter socket in your car, the other into your iPod and you can make sure your iPods always fully charged and ready for action.
try www.caraudioplus.co.uk and select Ipod Car Adapters down the left hand side of the screen
