I had a lovely Christmas and some lovely presents but also I had Gift Vouchers
2 from M&S and 1 from WH Smith, what I want to know is can I spend them on-line or do I have to shop in store?
Anyone know?
You can use your M&S vouchers online.
I'm not sure about HMV, I have in the past received gift cards rather than vouchers from HMV with a balance on it which they swipe at the till. If the HMV vouchers have a code on them then I would presume you could probably use them online. :)
jem when you say 'gift vouchers' do you mean a plastic/electronic gift card or paper vouchers, only the plastic electronic cards can be used online, but then smiths don't sell paper vouchers any more and so it must be a plastic card,
Thanks all, I wondered about that too. My OH bought me a £50 gift card as part of my christmas present and he was amazed - there were no ordinary gift cards or christmas gift cards left in the store, only WEDDING ones! They said no more were expected until after New Year and so, as we live 18 miles from M&S, he had to buy the wedding card and "doctored" it, cutting out christmas pictures and sticking them over the wedding cake and bridal couple! Whatever is happening to M&S thesedays - to run out of gift cards???
we ran out of christmas gift cards too and had to sell the everyday ones, it's not up to the stores how many are sent, it goes on grade size . the cards are supplied by the same company to all retailers and i know this year alot more companies are selling the electronic cards for other stores, we sell M & S, debenhams, argos, boots etc, and so they are being spread across alot of outlets now.
Thanks Dotty, I think our posts clashed & I had visitors & had to close down awhile. They are all plastic card type so it looks like I can use em all on line 'Googie' I'll be shopping tomorrow then, no wet coats, freezing feet, pushing & shoving at the sales for me, the comfort of my swivel chair my slippers & my wooly cardi.
(I'll be exausted tomorrow - Not.)
